ADDED

  • First iteration of the BRANCH mission type
    • Accessed by setting the mission's ENEMY variable to BRANCH
    • WARNING! Change the MAP LENGTH to any setting other than UNLIMITED. Otherwise, it will probably freeze.
    • In this mission type, waves are randomly assigned to blocks other than the first
      • You can choose which wave to fight by using the assigned exit
      • Approach an unlocked exit in order to see a preview of the wave the exit will lead to
      • Current missions are just the existing wave battles but "graded" according to difficulty
      • There will be a variable spread of difficulties for every block
      • Health and Armor will no longer refresh unless you finish the RALLY POINT mission
    • DISCLAIMER! This mode is heavily unbalanced and is mostly just a test for the systems
      • Some waves may be too hard to complete without in-between-wave full restores
  • BACKPACKS are now functional
    • MANEUVER PACK allows you to dash upwards
    • ASSAULT PACK gives your dash a starting impulse
    • DYNAMO PACK cuts all booster-related drain costs by 25%
    • Weights have been adjusted in accordance with the perceived utility
    • Current backpack functions are still placeholder and subject to change in later updates

CHANGED

  • Booster drain values have been adjusted upwards to accommodate the Dynamo
  • Leg and Booster top speeds are no longer affected by weight
