Loading WIP
Hasn't been an update for a while so here's a peek at what I'm currently working on.
The multiblock update has highlighted the long loading times issues. On that front, aiming to make blocks load in smoothly during gameplay, preferably when the player is in a different block. That should probably mitigate the loading times during long missions since you start playing once the first block has loaded in, instead of waiting for all the blocks to finish. In comparison to the current setup, it'll probably take longer to load for short missions but it'll be better for longer ones. Might have a small hit to performance (especially when buildings get spawned).
Buildings are definitely problematic on this front. There is significant freezing whenever one of them is instantiated, so I'm looking into what is the specific cause of that.
In any case, I'm really looking forward to getting this working right and it might be a fair bit more time before it's ready (and the next update). So thanks for sticking around!

o thats cool would be nice if we could see the map loading like as a opition so we dont see a black screen lel
