Update #6 Hotfix #1


NEW

  • TORSO ANGLE is now visible when viewing the unit stats
    • Similar to TORSO SPEED, it changes depending on the total weight of weapons (arms, shoulder and back)

FIXED

  • Weapon events on left hand now work properly
  • Black screen when starting in COCKPIT view with a equipped two-handed weapon or empty hand
    • also COCKPIT view not initializing when switched to with the same conditions
  • Volume sliders in the pause menu not updating to the correct Session values when pausing

CHANGED

  • Juggled around with the walking and gliding speed stats
    • Walking has a higher floor and lower ceiling for stats (speed, accel and turning) but may cause accuracy issues while moving due to instability
    • Gliding has a lower floor and higher ceiling for stats with passive energy drain but gives weapons a stable firing platform even on the move
  • Adjusted timings for the entry transition
    • Player will gain control mid-fall rather than after landing

KNOWN ISSUES

  • When wielding a two-handed weapon, the left hand's position doesn't accurately follow the weapon 
    • It's an issue with Unity's IK system. The IK system always updates before LateUpdate (where the procedural skeletal animations get applied) so its targeting is all wonky
    • Will look into a custom IK solution in the future to fix this

Due to some changes in the input system from Update #6, I recommend clearing your prefs with OPTIONS > DEBUG > CLEAR or else you might encounter some problems (SPACEBAR firing guns or similar oddities)

I'll be reserving the next couple of days for hotfixes so if you encounter anything breaking, now's the time to send in the logs! Screenshots and footage aren't required but they're well appreciated!
