Update #4


A small-ish update.

CHANGES

  • Updated art assets to use 4x4 palettes instead of 2x2
  • DASHING without movement input will move you vertically
    • KNOWN ISSUE: units may "bounce" if they land while having non-zero vertical "dashforce" remaining
  • Base STABILITY will scale with total WEIGHT
    • Heavier units have more inherent stability
  • Lock ring now supports variable sizes
    • Mostly for testing, it's currently attached to STABILITY
    • In the future, there will be an overhaul for TARGETING parts that will affect base ring size
  • Various tweaks to weapons

ADDED

  • New models (and tweaked behaviors) for some enemies (Kite helicopter, Viper jet)
  • Custom palettes are now supported
    • New and revised templates as well as instructions are included in the custombody archive
